In 2021, 478 runs were scored and the strike rate was 119. 2022 Gill scored 483 runs at a strike rate of 132. In 2023, Gill scored 890 runs for Gujarat and his strike rate was 158. In the previous season, Shubman scored 426 runs at a strike rate of 147 and is very close to crossing the 400 mark in this season. This will be the 5th consecutive season when Gill will be able to cross his goal i.e. 400 + score.
