New Delhi. Australia’s fast bowler Mitchell Starc made history in the IPL. He achieved the distinction of becoming the first fast bowler to take 5 wickets for Delhi Capitals in the IPL. The 35-year-old left-handed bowler took 5 wickets for 35 runs in 3.4 overs in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium of Visakhapatnam. Stark opened Ishaan Kishan (2) on the first ball of the third over by Stark and opened it by Triston Stabs. After 2 balls, he sent Nitish Kumar Reddy to the pavilion without opening an account. Nitish’s catch was caught by Delhi Capitals captain Akshar Patel.
Mitchell Starc dismissed Travis Head in their third over of the match. Head scored 22 runs off 12 balls and gave an easy catch to wicketkeeper KL Rahul.
