Sheffield Shield 2025: South Australia has won its first Sheffield Shield cricket title in 29 years chasing a record 269 runs in the first class cricket final.

Adelaide: South Australia defeated Queensland by four wickets to win the Sheffield Shield cricket tournament for the first time in 29 years. South Australia won for the fourth day by scoring 270 runs for six wickets in the second innings.
Jason Sangha scored an unbeaten 126 while Australian wicketkeeper Alex Carrie scored 105 runs. Both shared a 202 -run partnership.
