Dubai: Artistic batsman Shreyas Iyer, who played a key role in the victory of India’s Champions Trophy, won the Best Men Player of the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the month of March on Tuesday. Shreyas Iyer scored the highest 243 runs in the Champions Trophy ODI competition. He left behind New Zealand’s Jacob Dafi and Rachin Ravindra in this award race.
Iyer said in the ICC release, ‘I am really honored when I am selected as the best male player of ICC for the month of March. This honor is incredibly special. Especially in the month when we won the ICC Champions Trophy. A moment that I will always cherish in my memories.
