The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has signed a five -year agreement with Abu Dhabi Cricket and Sports Hub (ADCSH). Under this, now Afghanistan will now play its home series in Abu Dhabi. The Afghanistan Cricket Board cannot host international matches in its country due to political instability. Due to this, he has to host the bilateral series in another country. India has also been the home base of Afghanistan for a long time. Afghanistan has played many matches in Dehradun, Lucknow and Greater Noida. Last year, the Test match of Afghanistan and New Zealand in Greater Noida was canceled due to rain.
