IPL 2025: Amidst the 18th edition of the IPL, Rajasthan Royals were accused of match fixing. Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) convenor Jaideep Bihani raised many questions on this team captained by Sanju Samson. After this, all these allegations were dismissed by Rajasthan Royals. Now a new thing is coming out in this dispute.

Rajasthan Royals lost their 2 consecutive matches, but the team’s grip in both these matches was strong. In both the matches, the team needed 9 runs in the last over, while the wickets were left and the players were also the proper batsman. The match against Delhi Capitals lost in the Rajasthan super over, while the team lost by 2 runs against Lucknow Super Giants. Only after this, Bihani questioned the team.

The reason for displeasure is to get less tickets?

According to the Times of India report, the Rajasthan Cricket Association can get less than normal tickets during IPL 2025. It has been said in the report that RCA was usually given 1800 tickets for every match but this year its number was reduced. Now RCA is given 1000 to 1200 tickets per match by Rajasthan Royals.

The report, quoting a source associated with Rajasthan Royals, said, “In the beginning of the season, the BCCI gave us clear guidelines that since RCA was dissolved, we will contact the Rajasthan State Sports Council (RSSC) for all the arrangements.”

The source further said, “RCA’s disgruntled members and their allies are demanding more tickets, and we are not obeying them. This is the only reason behind this whole drama.”

An official of the BCCI told the Times of India on the condition of anonymity, “RCA has been dissolved at the moment. A second committee has been formed until the elections are held. So a lot of drama is being done.

Rajasthan Royals on match fixing allegations

In the context of these allegations, Rajasthan Royals Management issued a statement saying, “We dismiss all these allegations. Such statements are not only working to mislead but also to deeply hurt the reputation of Rajasthan Royals Team, RMPL, Rajasthan Royals Sports Council and BCCI. The Rajasthan team made it clear that it is working closely with the Rajasthan Sports Council and BCCI for the successful organization of the tournament.
