New Delhi. India has banned many YouTube channels of Pakistani after the Pahalgam terror attack. These include channels of 4 cricketers including Shoaib Akhtar. These channels are accused of spreading inflammatory and sensitive communal materials against India.
Shoaib Akhtar’s YouTube Channel (Shoaibakhtar100mph) was well seen in India. Its audience was in crores, due to which this Pakistani cricketer also used to earn strong earnings. Now this channel is not opening in India. On clicking this channel, a message is visible. The message is that ‘this channel is not available under the government’s order due to national security.
The YouTube channels of Pakistani cricketers in India are banned, including Basit Ali Show (@Basitalishow), ‘Caught Behind’ and ‘@Tanveer Says’. Former Pakistani captain Basit Ali runs the @Basitalishow channel. Former Pakistani captain Rashid Latif and senior journalist Nauman Niaz together run YouTube channel ‘Cott Behind’. ‘Tanveer Sage’ is a YouTube channel of former fast bowler Tanveer Ahmed. Apart from this, YouTube channel ‘Wase Habib’ (@WASAYABIB ‘of YouTubers’ Wase and Iffi’, who ridiculed the defeat of the Pakistani team, has also been closed. Wasse Habib’s name is not included in the list of channels banned, but the same message show is being done on them, which is coming on Shoaib Akhtar’s channel.
However, the channel of Pakistani leg -spinner Danish Kaneria can still be seen in India. Danish is a Hindu cricketer of Pakistan. They often criticize Pakistani Cricket Board and Cricketers. Danish Kaneria had strongly criticized Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack.
