Delhi Capitals defeated Rajasthan Royals in super over
New Delhi. The most exciting match of this season was played in the Indian Premier League between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals. Batting first, Delhi scored 188 runs for 5 wickets. Chasing the target, Rajasthan scored the same number of runs in 20 overs for 4 wickets. The matter reached the super over where Delhi won. Rajasthan’s team did not play the super over and was all out.
In the first super over of Indian Premier League 2025, Delhi Capitals defeated Rajasthan Royals and won the match. A lot of drama was seen in the breath -stop match. Delhi’s veteran fast bowler Mitchell Starc gave his full strength and dropped Rajasthan out of the match. He brought the last over of the first innings and did not allow 9 runs. After this, he bowled such in the super over which made Rajasthan all out.
Rajasthan became all out in super over
For the super over against Rajasthan, captain Akshar Patel chose the ball Mitchell Starc. The first ball was put on Shimron Hetmyer’s leg and no run was scored. Ate a four on the next ball but then the third ball again put an accurate ball on which 1 run. On the fourth ball, Ryan Parag hit a four and got a free hit. Ryan was run out on the ball on which the batsmen take advantage. Yashasvi Jaiswal was also run out on the next ball. Rajasthan’s team was all out after playing 5 balls.

In the super over, both teams are allowed to take off their three batsmen. Both teams get a chance to play 6-6 balls i.e. one over. According to the rules of cricket, the last batsman cannot bat alone. For this reason, if a team loses their 2 wickets in the super over, then it is all out. Rajasthan’s team was all out due to the dismissal of Ryan Parag and Yashasvi Jaiswal in the super over.
