Former RCB discussed Rohit between Sanjay Bangar and Ambati Rayudu
New Delhi. Former head coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Sanjay Bangar is not happy to use Rohit Sharma as an impact player from Mumbai Indians (Mi). He believes that Rohit has won MI five Indian Premier League (IPL) title and he can contribute a lot to the field. Former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Ambati Rayudu disagreed with Bangar. He said that captain Hardik Pandya does not need anyone’s advice.
Bangar asked Rayudu in ESPNCRICINFO, “I want to ask you a question, Rayudu. I think Rohit’s absence on the field is also harming the team in terms of leadership. Because he can probably give the right input to Hardik.”
To this, Rayudu replied, “I don’t think Hardik needs input. A captain should be left alone. It is his team, his input and you cannot put 10 people in his ear like it was last year. Rohit is the captain of India and when he is captaincy, he is the captaincy of India and when he is captaincy, he will not like to speak something with Hardik.”
The former Indian all -rounder replied, “But see when you bring an impact everything, you are looking for a specialist. If I want to see other options, Mi has Naman Dhir and Tilak, who does not bowl. Therefore, in T20 setup, that kind of experience in the field was very important. It was a different for you because you have never had a person who has been captained. IPL won the title, ”
