Team India for tri -series
The reins of the team selected for the tri -series have been given to Harmanpreet Kaur once again. 15 players have been selected in the team, Smriti Mandhana is the vice -captain. Tri -series schedule
The triangular ODI series between India, South Africa and Sri Lanka will begin in Sri Lanka from 27 April. Each team will play 4-4 matches i.e. 2-2 matches with each team. India will play its first match with Sri Lanka on 27 April. After this, both teams will clash for the second time on 4 May. The matches between India and South Africa will be played on 29 April and 7 May. India will play all its matches in Colombo. After all the matches, the final between the top 2 teams will be finalized on 11 May.

India is the best among all three in ranking
The Indian cricket team is third in the ICC’s women’s ODI team rankings. The team has 112 rating points. South Africa is at number four with 103 rating points. The Sri Lanka women’s cricket team ranks 8th in the rankings, it has 80 rating points. It is clear that in terms of ranking, the Indian team is considered to be a strong contender to win this tournament.
