New Delhi: The Cricket Board of India (BCCI) has included 34 players this time in the Central Contract released on 21 April. Along with Rohit and Kohli, all -rounder Ravindra Jadeja and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah have also been placed in A Plus category. C is the highest 19 players in the category, including four new players in the form of Harshit Rana, Varun Chakraborty, Abhishek Sharma and Nitish Kumar Reddy.
In the previous season, Shreyas Iyer and Ishaan Kishan, who were allegedly ignored for the IPL for the IPL, have also returned from the contract. Rishabh Pant, who has been retired in Group B during the 2023-24 season, has been retired in a category in place of Ravichandran Ashwin, who has retired.
The chopped leaf of these players: Shardul Thakur, Jitesh Sharma, KS Bharat and Avesh Khan have been excluded from the Central Contract List.
Promotion of these players: Rishabh Pant (from category B to category A), Shreyas Iyer (No Relations to category b), Ishaan Kishan (No Relations to category C), Sarfaraz Khan (no contract for category C), Nitish Kumar Reddy (No contracts for Grade C), Abhishek Sharma (Prior to the first ventricle) Varun Chakraborty (first contract), Harshit Rana (first contract)
