The first Test match between the two teams is being played in Silhat. Shadman Islam (12) and Mahmudul Hasan Joy (14) shared a 31 -run opening partnership for the Bangladesh team that won the toss. After these two were dismissed, Mominul Haq (56) and captain Najmul Hussain Shanto (40) shared a 66 -run partnership. This partnership was broken by Najmul’s dismissal. Then the team’s scar was 98 runs.
Bangladesh lost the fourth wicket as Mushfiqur Rahim (4). Mominul Haq, who scored the only half -century of the match, was dismissed as the fifth batter on the team score of 136. Brian Bennett 33 and Ben Karen are unbeaten scoring 16 runs. Ben Karen is the brother of Sam Karen and Tom Karen, who plays for England. Sam Karen is currently playing for Chennai Super Kings in IPL.
