Delhi Capitals defeated Rajasthan Royals in an exciting match in the super over on Wednesday. However, after this match, the BCCI has imposed a huge fine on Delhi’s bowling coach Munaf Patel. During his match, there was an argument with the umpire, whose video was also revealed. 25 percent of Munaf’s match fee has been deducted as fine.

In a statement issued by the IPL Committee, the bowling coach of Delhi Capitals, Munaf Patel, has been fined 25 percent of the match fee for violation of the IPL code of conduct during his team’s match against Rajasthan Royals at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on Wednesday and also got a demerit point. Munaf Patel accepted the offense of Level 1 under Article 2.20, which is related to the behavior contrary to the spirit of sports. He accepted the punishment of the match referee. For violations of the Code of Conduct, the decision of the match referee is final and binding. Although Delhi Capitals won this match on the basis of their brilliant bowling, but the head coach Hemang Badani will definitely talk to him after seeing the kind of behavior that Munaf did as a bowling coach.
