New Delhi. England’s explosive batsman Tom Banton has made a maharikord in county cricket. This is the first time in the history of 150 -year -old Samarset when a batsman has played such a big innings. Bantton surprised world cricket by playing marathon innings. During this time, he surpassed Vivian Richards and Justin Langer’s records who set up years ago. Banton did not find any buyer in the IPL 2025 auction. He was unsold. In the auction, he had kept his base price 2 crore but no franchise showed interest in buying him. After this, Banton played 371 runs in the match against Worster Shareyar, playing for Sumaraset.
The innings that Tom Banton has played in Division 1 of County’s Division 1 is the first in the history of one hundred and fifty years when a batsman has scored such a big score.
