Since March 2023, Walter, who held this post, has played an important role in South Africa’s recent successes on the global stage.
Under his guidance, South Africa made history in 2024 by reaching its first ICC T20 World Cup final where he was runner -up to India in Barbados. During his tenure, the 50 -over team also reached the semi -finals of ICC Mains Cricket World Cup 2023 in India.
