New Delhi. Alex Carry Pakistan Super League will not play in 2025. Australia’s wicketkeeper decided to be out of PSL a few hours before the match began. Islamabad United confirmed Carrie’s exit before his first match. Carrie was included in his squad by Islamabad in place of South African batsman Rasi Van Dere Dusen. Carrie has decided to withdraw from PSL, saying that he will not be available in the tournament due to domestic cricket commitments in Australia.
Islamabad United Team Management gave this information a few hours before the match started on Friday. Last year’s champions will start to defend their title against Lahore Kalandars at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium today. After being out of Alex Carey, the team is expecting the return of Rasi Van Dar Dusen. The team’s batting has weakened due to withdrawal of Carrie’s name. In such a situation, Islamabad United team can announce the replacement of Carrie as soon as possible.
PSL’s 10th edition will have 6 teams
In the 10th edition of PSL, 6 teams will compete in 34 matches. The league will start from April 11 while Final will be played on 18 May. 13 matches will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, including two eliminators and finals. There will be 11 matches in Rawalpindi, including the first qualifier on May 13, while five matches will be played in Karachi and Multan. The tournament also includes three double-headed matches. Two Saturdays and one Labor Day will be played on 1 May.
