He was excluded from Team India due to poor form. After this, there was upheaval in personal life and their marriage broke up. Wife got divorced with Dhanashree Verma. In the Indian Premier League, he has been like taking wickets.
The team which affected the most in this season of the Indian Premier League is Punjab Kings. This team bought spinner Yuzvendra Chahal released by Rajasthan Royals in the mega auction but the stakes did not sit right yet. Chahal, who took the highest 206 wickets in the history of the tournament, has no special performance this season. He was the last bowler to take the most wickets. Till now Chahal has taken only 1 wicket after playing three matches. His bag against Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan remained empty. While Lucknow took 1 wicket against Super Giants.
Out of Team India
Yuzvendra Chahal’s performance has not been good for a long time. For this reason, he had to be out of the Indian team. Yuzvendra Chahal married Dhanashree Verma on 11 December 2020. In 2022 itself, the news of rift between the two was revealed. Since then Chahal and Dhanashree were living separately. On 20 March 2025, both of them got divorced in Mumbai’s Bandra Family Court.
