Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) is searching for such bowlers. Actually, under the search scheme of the bowlers, Bihar Cricket Association is going to organize Talent Hunt Program. Under this scheme, such bowlers will be given attention who have the passion to bowl inside, but till date there is no chance.
Speaking to Local 18, director of BCA’s Cricket Development and Operation, Anand Yalvegi said that the purpose of this campaign is to recognize spin and fast bowling talent among young cricketers, train them and give opportunity to move forward.
Moinul Haq Stadium will be open hunt program
According to director Anand Yalvegi, an open trial will be held at Moinul Haq Stadium in Patna. Where the entire Bihar youth cricketers will reach. Under this program, emerging bowlers between 16 to 25 years will be provided platforms to show their talent. Initially, thousands of cricketers from across the state will take part in this talent hunt. We will choose some of them bowlers, then two international players will help in choosing the top 10 fast and 10 spin bowlers after another final trial.
The selected bowlers will be given the opportunity to train with the state teams. Also, he will get a chance to play in the upcoming matches as well. In future, these players will also be seen in the IPL team like Vaibhav Suryavanshi of Bihar. Vaibhav Suryavanshi is currently associated with Rajasthan Royals. He has been added to him by giving him 1.1 crores by Rajasthan Royals.
Age should be so much
In this selection process, first local coaches and selectors will choose the players in collaboration with the cricket director. Under this process, 10 fast bowlers and 10 spinners will be selected. Some criteria have been fixed for selection. In this, the age of the player should be between 16 and 25 years. Only those players can participate in it, which is not a part of ‘President Cup 2025’. Apart from this, it is necessary for the player to be a permanent resident of Bihar state.
