New Delhi. Aniket Verma is the new big hitter batter of Sunrisers Hyderabad. The 23 -year -old young man made a lot of headlines by playing explosive innings in the IPL match against Delhi Capitals. Born in UP’s Jhansi, Aniket Verma landed in the match against Delhi Capitals in Visakhapatnam for batting when his team had lost the wickets of destructive batsmen like Abhishek Sharma, Ishaan Kishan and Travis Head for just 37 runs. After that, Aniket did the work of removing Hyderabad hardly. He scored 74 runs off 41 balls which included 6 sixes and 5 fours. Aniket scored at a strike rate of 180.49.
Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 163 runs with the help of right -handed batsman Aniket Verma. Earlier, Aniket scored 39 runs off 13 balls in the match against Lucknow Super Joints. Jhansi -born Aniket Verma’s childhood has been spent in many difficulties. After losing his mother at the age of three, his uncle Amit Verma brought him up. He was deeply interested in cricket. Aniket’s uncle gave him training under Nandjit Sir at Railway Youth Cricket Club. After this, he further enhanced his skills with Jyotiprakash Tyagi at Ankur Academy. Currently he is taking training in Faith Cricket Club. Aniket Verma has left his mark in domestic tournaments. He emerged as the top scorer in the Madhya Pradesh Premier League T20 tournament. And scored 273 runs in 6 matches for Bhopal Leopards. This performance of Aniket made him the way to IPL. Sunrisers bought Aniket for 30 lakhs.
